Before the current crop of sound-a-like Emo bands, Her Words Kill were already tearing up stages with their unique take on the emerging hardcore scene. Mixing the passion and intensity of metal-core with their own ear for melody and ambient, Her Words Kill formed in the Autumn of 2003 determined to sound like nothing else. Connors’s down and dirty style of vocals playing off against Luke’s angelic singing accompanied by a score of sick breakdowns, catchy riffs and haunting melodies, the band have gained a local reputation as THE band to watch.

Live shows have left the stage a wasteland and the crowd immersed in their sound. Retaining their original harder edge, but developing a taste for pop-sensibilities with a fistful of cock-rock attitude, the band have recently been concentrating on raising their profile with a string of UK dates with bands such as The Hurt Process & Hondo Maclean. With the release of their long-awaited debut album ‘Load my Revolver, Baby’, Her Words Kill could be on the edge of something special.
